It Began with a Sofa That Was Almost Thrown Away
Serat Bersih was founded in 2018 after its founder, Dwi Handoko, helped a neighbor save an 8-year-old sofa that was about to be thrown out because of a baby formula stain thought to be permanent. It turned out it could be removed — with the right method, not just a generic cleaning liquid.
From there, the on-call service grew by word of mouth in the Tembalang area, then expanded across Semarang with a fleet of certified technicians trained directly by Dwi.
